RATE OF PAY FOR SUBSTITUTES

 

The rate of pay for a substitute for the first twenty (20) consecutive school days shall be set by the School Board and subject to periodic review.

Whenever a fully qualified substitute is required for a period in excess of twenty (20) consecutive school days the substitute will have full responsibility for the instruction to include planning lessons and marking students, and such a substitute will be placed on the salary step for the district in which he/she is substituting beginning with the 21st day.

Whenever the period of substitution continues beyond twenty consecutive days the substitute will hold a valid New Hampshire certification for the position in which he/she has filled.
