PROFESSIONAL STAFF

BENEFIT ALLOCATION POLICY

 

Those employed in professional positions by the Pembroke School District access benefits under the following guidelines:

  1. Those employed full-time on standard contracts under the Recognition Clause of the current Master Agreement shall receive benefits as enumerated in that Master Agreement.
  2. Those employed under administrative contracts shall receive benefits as agreed upon with the Pembroke School Board.
  3. Those employed on standard contracts and working less than full-time but at least half-time (50%) as certified teachers, guidance counselors, librarians, reading specialists or school nurses in the Pembroke School District shall receive pro-rated benefits. Benefits shall be defined as those afforded members of the bargaining unit under the terms of the Master Agreement. Pro-ration shall equate to the percentage of employment. Those employed less than half-time (50%) are not entitled to benefits.
