Summer School 2008

We will be offering several summer school classes this year, contingent upon sufficient enrollment in each class. See your guidance counselor to sign up; there are minimum requirements to meet. Payment is required to secure a seat in the class... see below for details.

Cost:
$150 per course, payable in full before classes start. Minimum $50 deposit at time of registration.
Checks and/or cash accepted. Checks should be made payable to Pembroke Academy.

Session I: 7:30am – 11:15am
July 7 - July 31, Monday through Thursday
     >English: grades 11-12
     >Mathematics: Algebra I, Algebra & Geometry IA, Algebra & Geometry IB, Prealgebra
     >Social Studies: World History, Civics & Economics

Session II: 11:45am – 3:30pm
July 7 - July 31, Monday through Thursday
     >English: grades 9-10
     >Mathematics: Algebra II, Algebra & Geometry IIA, Algebra & Geometry IIB
     >Social Studies: American History, Civics & Economics

Session III: 8:00am – 12:00pm
July 7 - July 31, Monday through Friday
LOCATION: Chichester Central School / Chichester Woods
     >Science: Summer Ecology
        Outdoor-based learning classroom on local ecology. Topics include analysis of
        ecosystems, watersheds, forest and pond ecology, and understanding that
        humans and Earth must coexist to be sustainable. (This course may make up
        Biology, Physical Science, Freshman Science, or a science elective but not
        Chemistry or Physics.)
