Oil change- Make sure that you have all your tools and an oil drain pan before you start. Make sure that you have the right type of oil filter and oil. If engine is cold run the engine for a little to let oil heat up before draining it. After you fill your oil run vehicle for a minute then shut vehicle off for a few seconds. Then recheck your oil level. Caution hot oil can cause a burn when it comes in contact with your skin. Be sure to grease all fittings on the tie rod ends and ball joints if your vehicle has these fittings. Most new cars do not have grease fittings. |
