Here are some special very special projects created by student at DCS. In order to view them you will need special software. Please read the directions below carefully.

Mrs. Shute's class 2008 Biome project

This project was created in Powerpoint 2000. In order to view it you will need a compatible version of Powerpoint or you will need to download and install Powerpoint viewer. Right click and save this Biome file to your hard drive. Double click and launch the file.

Technology Magnet - Mikie's video game project

This project is created in Scratch. To view it you will need to:

1. Right click on this link and save it to your hard drive. This is the game file and will take some time to download. It is 50mb.
2. Download and install Scratch on your computer. It is an awesome project and you will enjoy having it
   Scratch is a new programming language that makes it easy to create your own interactive stories, animations, games, music, and art -- and share your creations on the web. Scratch is designed to help young people (ages 8 and up) develop 21st century learning skills. As they create Scratch projects, young people learn important mathematical and computational ideas, while also gaining a deeper understanding of the process of design.
3. Double click and launch the file. Click the green arrow to start.
